The press conference “NATO Day – 4 April” is traditional activity of the Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia in cooperation with the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia, NATO Contact Embassies in Republic of Macedonia and the NATO Liaison Office, on which the public is briefed about the development and progress of the NATO integrative processes of the Republic of Macedonia and, it also serves to celebrate the NATO Day – 4 April.

On 1st December 2014, the Atlantic Treaty Association (ATA) held its 60th General Assembly. Traditionally ATA hosts a General Assembly that brings together the entire ATA network to discuss the accomplishments of the previous year, the ambitions for the next one, and the emerging security challenges it must prepare for in order to safeguard the peace and security enjoyed by the transatlantic alliance.

Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia from October 17th - 19th 2014, hosted a conference entitled on the topic of “Regional Approach to Smart Defence and Pooling and Sharing Initiatives - Possibilities and Directions”. The conference yielded great value for the future of defense planning in the region. With representatives from all A5 countries plus Kosovo and Serbia, the meeting discussed how each state in the region can enhance regional security while maintaining realistic foresight in the face of growing security threats, regional tension and declining defense budgets.
