During the second half of November 2021, The Euro-Atlantic Council of North Macedonia had a productive week conducting the project “Info vs Disinfo: Building resilience to disinformation practices in post - Covid environment in North Macedonia”. The project is supported by the NATO Public Diplomacy Division. During this time, two focus groups took place.



The focus groups consisted of 4 people per group. The answers gave us insight into the opinions that these young people have regarding disinformation and whether they are able to recognize fake news. Furthermore, they were able to express their views about the pandemic, the vaccination process, the trust they have in the institutions etc.

It is worth mentioning that even though the young people were coming from different backgrounds they were all familiar with the issue at hand.

This project conducted by the Euro-Atlantic Council of North Macedonia is primarily youth oriented and its main goal is to limit the flow of disinformation that is ever so present in today’s reality in North Macedonia. We are hoping that the project will lead to sustainable resilience of society via education and media skills.
