Delegation of the Youth of the Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia on invitation of NATO PDD are visiting NATO Head Quarters in Brussels and SHAPE in Mons.
The Youth of the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia on 18.01.2012 in the facilities of the University American College Skopje held its regular Annual Assembly.
In light of the importance of the implementation of the UNSCR 1325 and the overall global debate on the gender dimension and security, the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia (EACM) joined the global discussion for the implementation of the UNSCR 1325 and measures for its effective enforcement.
Following the passing away of Mr.Kiro Gligorov, the first President of independent Republic of Macedonia, the Euro–Atlantic Council of Macedonia sent a letter of condolences to his family, expressing the importance of President Gligorov for the independence, development and international promotion of the Republic of Macedonia:
Lazar Elenovski, the president of the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia in the period 2nd – 3rd December 2011 took participation on the Annual International Symposium that was held for the 20th time in Athens.
I have taken note of President Medvedev's statement on missile defence. NATO's missile defence system, which NATO Heads of State and Government agreed to develop last year at the Lisbon Summit, is designed to defend against threats emanating from outside Europe and is not designed to alter the balance of deterrence.
