NATO must continue to connect to the digital global village to make its voice heard

Question: how many videos do you imagine are watched on YouTube each day. A few million? A couple of hundred million? The answer is actually 2 billion – and growing.

Mr. Lazar Elenovski, the President of the Euro – Atlantic Council of Macedonia and Vice President of the Atlantic Treaty Association – ATA, participated on the international conference dedicated to the Smart Defence concept from 26^th to 28^th of April 2012 in Tirana, Albania.

On 23.04.2012 the Association of veterans and military reserve in the Republic of Macedonia organized the Fifth International Scientific-technical conference on the subject "The Role of the Active Composition and the Reserve of the Armed forces in their missions and duties in regional and global security environment in the 21^st century".

On 4^th April 2012 the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Netherlands and NATO Contact Point Embassy in the Republic of Macedonia held press conference for the NATO day and 63 years of the existence of NATO.

On 29^th of March 2012 an USA- Adriatic group’s Conference was held, with a main subject ‘’Common challenges and joint solutions’’. The event was organized by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia. The conference was held in the spirit of continuing the process between the countries of the Adriatic group, towards the promotion of the regional dialogue, the improvement of the defence collaboration and strengthening of the national capacities.
