The Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia as a partner organization for the first time in our country was part of the project Aliante 2013, unique competition with international dimensions.

Aliante is a competition for two-member teams of 15 to 19-year-old students. Its purpose is to raise the students’ awareness and knowledge about history, geography, politics and above all security issues and North Atlantic Alliance.

Aliante 2013 had very successful start in the Republic of Macedonia with 20 teams from high schools engaged in the competition. They were tested in two national phases and today we have the honor to announce the results from this year competition.

For the first time of this competition winners in the Republic of Macedonia are Elena Grncharevska and Mihajlo  Vukovic from the high school “Rade Jovcevski Korcagin” from Skopje.

The second place is awarded to Pavle Sofronievski and David Najdoski from high school “Algoritam” from Skopje and the third place is awarded to Stefani Kotevska and Aleksandra Cvetanovska from the same high school.
