On 26 June 2012, the Euro- Atlantic Council of Macedonia has organized a ceremony for expressing gratitude to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, H.E.



Mr. Kjetil Paulsen and the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Alain Brian Bergant, in light of the end of their term in the Republic of Macedonia.

The ceremony was facilitated by the President of the Euro- Atlantic of Macedonia and Vice President of the Atlantic Treaty Association, Mr. Lazar Elenovski. He expressed gratitude to the Ambassadors Paulsen and Bergant for their support to the Euro- Atlantic Council of Macedonia, as well as for their mission for integration of Macedonia in NATO during their mandate in the country. After the brief speeches, he awarded the Ambassadors Paulsen and Bergant letters of appreciation and gifts.

Most of the diplomatic corps in the Republic of Macedonia were present at the event, including the Ambassadors of United Kingdom, France, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania, Greece, Croatia, representatives from the Embassies of Germany, United States, Italy and Turkey. The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defence, representatives from the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, representatives from the civil sector, the members of the EACM and the media.
