The President of the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia Lazar Elenovski and the Vice-President Ismet Ramadani held a meeting with the US ambassador in Macedonia Philip Reeker.

The meeting had a discussion of the current situation of the euro-atlantic integration of the Republic of Macedonia and for the further integration of the country in NATO. At the meeting Elenovski informed the ambassador about the annual program of the EACM for 2011, more precisely on the initiatives and the activities on national and international level which the Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia plans to implement in 2011 related to the implementation of the euro-atlantic values in the Macedonian society, the implementation of the NATO Strategic Concept 2010, capacities development, the implementation of the UN 1325 Resolution, the EU defence identity, regional cooperation and other issues in the area of security and international relations.
