Having in mind that student simulations and all events of its type in the country proved to be very successful and interesting for students, Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia, on March 28th, 2013 will organize a student simulation on the topic:
NATO and partner countries - future challenges and what to expect ?!
The event is practically a simulation of a NATO Meeting of Heads of State and Government, who should have a discussion on the NATO present and future partnerships and the possible variations of how NATO should create its relation with partners all around the world. The event is highly educational because it allows students closer and deeper to learn about the issues of NATO, security and international politics, this time with special attention to the NATO partnerships.

For this purpose, on 21.03.2013 (Thursday) the Youth Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia held a info briefing for the participants of this year's student simulation in the Army Hall, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
During the briefing the President of the Youth Euro-Atlantic Council of Macedonia, Mr Ilija Djugumanov had addressed the participants and explain the principle of operation of the simulation, the experiences of the previous three simulations, and the importance to participate in events of this great educational character. As every year, on this NATO Student Simulation there will be a lot of new things which will be implemented for the first time on one simulation in the Republic of Macedonia. Skype conferences and live streaming will be even bigger challenge for the students.

As an organizer EACM prepared guiding materials for all students and a booklet on NATO which contained relevant information. The students were given countries at random choice which led to strengthening the peer to peer cooperation as students from different backgrounds got to work together.
At the end participants were wished for successful preparation for the upcoming event. |
