Meetings of EACM with the diplomatic representatives in the country Print

In continuation of the long years of good cooperation of the EACM with the diplomatic representatives in the country, the Executive Office of the EACM met with some of the key ambassadors in the country in the field of the Euro-Atlantic integrations.

EACM representatives met H.E. Ferenc Kekesi, ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in the country, which the country chairman of the EU Presidency on 4th February 2011.

On 15th February EACM representatives met with H.E. Kjetil Paulsen, ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Macedonia and on 16th February met with H.E. Simone Fillipini, ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to the Republic of Macedonia, the current NATO Contact Embassy in the country.

Issues debated at the meetings were the integration of the Republic of Macedonia in EU and NATO and the key questions in relation to these issues, such as the reform of the security sector, the implementation of the Framework Agreement, the current issues in NATO developed with the adoption of the Strategic Concept at the NATO Lisbon Summit and the future directions of the Alliance.
Regarding the successful partnership in the past, the sides discussed initiatives in the forthcoming period that the EACM would implement in cooperation with the diplomatic missions in the country.
